Xbox Kinect Games Review

First is the Disneyland game, 5 out of my 7 divas love it. The kids never get bored with it since it has tons of games. Also it's easy to navigate and includes pretty every Disney character that you could think of. Overall I'd say it's definitely worth the money, especially if you have little ones running around.

Next is Just Dance 3. This game is a favorite for all ages (7 out of 7 divas, plus mom LOL). It's a really fun game with great music, not to mention quite a workout. It's even better after a glass or two of wine, and hey if you're too tired to join in, it's just as fun to watch the person trying to dance after a glass or two of wine :)

Couponing Tip

Let's say you find an item on sale in a grocery ad that you could get for free or really cheap with a certain coupon, but you wish you had more coupons.....no problem. Just go to ebay and search that product name coupon and chances are you can find them, usually in bunches of 10 or 20 and for a $1 or $2, which is alot cheaper that buying 10 or 20 Sunday papers. The only trick is to check the sales and Ebay the day the sales start so you can hopefully get the coupons in the mail before the sale ends. Oh and an added bonus of coupons from ebay is they are precut :)

Xbox w/ Kinect vs Nintendo Wii

About a month ago our family had to decide between buying another Nintendo Wii or a Xbox w/ Kinect. After finding a good deal in a after Christmas sale, we decided to give the Xbox a try. I have to say it has it's pros and cons, but I think the good outweigh the bad. The main benefit to Xbox's Kinect is NO controllers!!! You don't have to worry about charging, dropping or losing them. And my kids really like being able to use their hands as the controller. The only 2 cons, so far, are if you set it up in a room with alot a traffic the game has a hard time picking up the movements of the people that are playing. And if you set up individual accounts for each person in your household it has problems recognizing who is who. The only other downfall is the small selection of games (but my kids are obsessed with the Dance Now games so that's not really a problem). All I know is I'll never have to hear, "MOOOOMMMMM I can't find the controller or my controller isn't working waaaaaa!!!!).... so I'm happy :)

Kroger has Progresso Soup 10 for $10 (you don't have to buy 10). And you can find plenty of coupons for Progresso in the Sunday paper or print them from coupon sites. For example I found coupons for $1 off 4 cans, so you pay 75 cents a can!  This is the cheapest I've seen in quite awhile and it's not like they will go bad anytime soon, so stock up :)

Shark Steam mops & Vacuums

Well I'm a little torn on this brand. I've had one of the Shark steam mops w/ vacuum for over a year. The problem is it stopped working after 9 months. So yes that means I still have it, but hey at least the vacuum still works. I'm not sure why, but one day it just stopped putting out steam. And honestly I wasn't really thrilled with it even when it did work. I wouldn't waste my money on buying another one, mainly because it doesn't work well on tile floor since it doesn't clean grout at all. If anything it seems like it actually pushes the dirt into it. Even on other surfaces I would have to go over it multiple times before it looked clean.

Now on the other hand I've had the Shark Navigator Lift-Away for over 6 months, and I LOVE it! The only thing is it's not as lightweight as they make it look on the commercials (like the woman who carries the detached canister with one finger while cleaning the stairs). But don't get me wrong, it's not a big deal, just not as easy as they make it seem. The good things about this vacuum definitely outweigh the bad. Like the suction on this thing is great. Even after 6 months of the constant abuse like hair from 7 girls, fur from 3 dogs and 2 cats, and it's still going strong. Plus if it does get clogged (like ours has since no one in the house except apparently me knows that the vacuum CAN be emptied out) it's really easy to take apart and put back together. Overall I would definitely recommend this vacuum, if it can handle our house it can take ANYTHING :)

My local Randalls ad that came out today has Betty Crocker Fruit Snack for 99 cents (must buy 4 and no coupon needed),  they usually cost $1.99 or more.  If your kids are anything like mine, fruit snacks are a must have lunch item, and at this price I don't mind for once. Especially if you have coupons to use on top of the deal. For example I have a coupon from the sunday paper that's 50 cents off 2 boxes, so now we're down to 75 cents each. If your store doubles coupons even better!
If you don't have a Randalls in your area you can go on their website www.randalls.com and see if they have a store under a different name in your area. I can't promise that they have the same items on sale, but it's worth looking into.

Hello and welcome to my CRAZY world! :)

I've decided to start this blog because I'm a stay at home mom to seven daughters, and I feel  that some of my day to day experiences may be helpful to other people. For example, the amount of products and groceries that we buy is absurd, and many times I find myself buying stuff that I end up hating. I always think, "I wish someone had told how bad this _____ sucked before I wasted my money!" So I've decided I'm going to have to be that person for others. Atleast this way, the next time I waste my money I can think that it hopefully saved someone else.

 I also LOVE coupons and deals. The only problem is I don't have anyone in my family that I can share these great deals with, because honestly they don't care. Most of my family members don't have kids or interest in stock piling 30 boxes of cereal, I on the other hand do and would :)

So please check back daily to see what I like, dislike or a really great deal I found. I hope you find something useful and save some money along the way.
